Google Structured Data Tool Update

Google’s Structured Data Tool Tester thingy updated a few weeks ago and is now asking for an image for structured data related to a business type and location. So if your structured data for your local business validated last month or earlier it probably might not today.

Some situations don’t display an image but Google’s tester tool doesn’t care. Should you add an image? As of this writing you don’t have to. You can simply use a meta itemprop as described below. I tried it and it validates! Here is the code in case you’re interested:
